IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT WEDDINGS IN MALTA

You will need to spend a minimum of 2 working days in Malta before your marriage ceremony in order to complete the necessary legal formalities. The couple will both need to provide copies of the following document before the wedding (and also take them upon travel):

All original documents, forms RZ1 and RZ2 and photocopies of your passports must be sent to us at least 10 weeks prior to travel.
These will be sent to resort in order to allow them to complete the marriage licence application process with the Maltese authorities.
Please be aware that your original documents will be retained in resort. You may therefore wish to obtain certified copies of all your original documentation before you travel.

When you get there you will need to visit the registry office to complete the final documentation and at this point your wedding date will be reconfirmed to you.
